Ras Al Khaimah Casino: Wynn Al Marjan's September 2027 Opening

Can visitors enter Wynn Al Marjan now?

Current answer

The Ras Al Khaimah casino forms part of Wynn Al Marjan Island on Al Marjan Island, but it was not open to the public on 10 August 2026. Wynn's latest official guidance places the resort's guest opening in September 2027.

A construction site cannot be treated as a bookable or visitable hotel, restaurant or gaming floor. Wynn does provide an email update form, but submitting it creates neither a reservation nor an admission ticket.

What does Wynn Al Marjan Island include?

More than a standalone casino

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be Wynn's first integrated resort in the Middle East and North Africa, and its developers call it the UAE's first integrated resort. The destination is planned to bring together a hotel, licensed gaming facility, dining, entertainment, retail, spa, beach, marina and events centre.

Site and development partners

More than 60 hectares of Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah are covered by the project, which faces the Arabian Gulf. It is a joint venture involving entities linked to Wynn Resorts, Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding; the gaming licence register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC as the relevant entity.

Why the integrated resort description matters

Calling it an integrated resort signals something broader than a hotel built around a gaming floor. Published material so far focuses mainly on accommodation, restaurants, beaches, events and entertainment, whereas the detailed game mix has not been announced.

Wynn Al Marjan's September 2027 opening target

Most recent official guidance

In its second quarter results on 4 August 2026, Wynn gave September 2027 as the month when the resort will welcome guests. That named month supersedes pages that mention only 2027, first quarter 2027 or spring 2027.

How the earlier target changed

Earlier investor updates aimed for the first quarter of 2027. After Wynn warned in May 2026 that a modest delay would be quantified later, its August release filled in the detail and shifted the current guidance to September 2027.

How firm is September?

A results release from the company carries more weight than a property listing or travel blog, yet it is still a forecast for a resort undergoing fit-out. Before paying for a non-refundable trip, revisit the official resort website and Wynn investor releases.

From project announcement to opening target

Status-changing milestones

Reading the announcements in order prevents an earlier target from being confused with the current one. The sequence tracks the Ras Al Khaimah casino from an initial proposal through licensing and construction to a stated opening month.

Reading the November and December entries

A Wynn project story places the 70-floor ceremony on 25 November 2025, whereas later corporate updates put the structural concrete milestone in December 2025. Here, November refers to the site ceremony and December to the subsequent construction record, preserving both dates.

Construction position through August 2026

Tower and facade progress

The 2 February 2026 Wynn release recorded structural concrete through the roof of level 71 and 21,852 fitted facade panels out of 26,471, or 83%. The guest website calls the tower 70 floors, so the two official descriptions are retained separately rather than turned into an inferred floor count. Wynn has also reported interim heights, while the stable published target remains 352 metres above sea level once the spire is installed.

Interior work and low-rise structures

Installation of elevators and escalators was advancing, with mechanical, electrical and finishing work also proceeding across the guest inventory. Concrete and structural steel work on the low-rise buildings had reached 99% combined, a figure that does not make those areas guest-ready.

The Wynn Bridge link

Wynn Bridge is a new 548-metre link planned from the resort via Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611. On 2 February 2026 it stood at 48% complete, with piling finished and nine of ten bridge column pile caps installed; Wynn's target at that point was completion in late 2026.

What August's update adds

Wynn described construction as moving rapidly in its August results, while the second quarter presentation showed extensive interior work on 15 July 2026. Neither publication added a later facade or bridge percentage, so the February figures remain dated figures and are not extended through speculation.

Gaming area and resort scale by the numbers

The current official measurement

Filed in March 2026, Wynn's annual report for 2025 gives the gaming area as 225,000 sq ft. That is about 20,900 sqm after conversion, and it is the figure used here because the report is the latest direct corporate filing.

Why 18,500 sqm still appears online

Older property and news coverage, including current search results, often cites an approximate 18,500 sqm gaming floor. Wynn has not issued a reconciliation saying the measurements describe separate spaces, so 18,500 sqm is treated as the older estimate and not combined with the newer figure.

MeasureFigure usedHow to review it
Gaming area225,000 sq ft, about 20,900 sqmNewest figure in Wynn's annual filing
Older figure still repeated onlineAbout 18,500 sqmEarlier estimate, not the current lead measurement
Development siteMore than 60 hectaresEntire integrated resort, rather than only the gaming floor
Hotel tower70 floorsDescription presented to resort guests
Structure in the February update299 metres through the level 71 roofConstruction measurement at that date, not final height
Planned height with spire352 metres above sea levelArchitectural target published on the resort website

What a floor measurement cannot show

A floor measurement cannot show how many tables or slots there will be, which games will be offered, or how space will be divided between general and private rooms. Wynn had released none of those details by 10 August 2026, so a precise inventory requires a newer operator source.

Guest rooms, suites and residences

The 1,530-unit accommodation breakdown

In its February construction update, Wynn said the full set of 1,530 accommodation units had structural completion, although interior fit-out continued. The breakdown below includes apartments, townhomes and estates within that total, avoiding double counting.

CategoryNumberPublished description
Resort rooms1,217Main Resort Tower rooms and suites
Enclave suites297Upper-floor hotel-within-a-hotel accommodation
Royal Apartments2Apartments positioned at the tower's top
Garden Townhomes4Standalone garden accommodation in the plan
Marina Estates10Residences located beside the marina
Total1,530Current announced guest inventory

The Enclave concept

Enclave is Wynn's hotel-within-a-hotel arrangement on the upper floors, served by its own entrance, arrival area and lifts. It is centred on suites and a distinct service setting, but Wynn has not announced rates, packages or a reservation opening date.

Why does 1,542 still appear on some pages?

Older Wynn releases used the 1,542 figure, which competitors continue to repeat. The February 2026 construction release and current resort materials give a full category breakdown totalling 1,530, the total followed here.

Dining, theatre, shopping and art

Twenty-two dining and drinking venues

The resort website currently outlines 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as a daytime beach club for hotel guests and other visitors. Wynn has announced a French-American steakhouse by Alain Ducasse and a second Delilah supper club, though restaurant reservations were closed at this update.

Punchdrunk at The Showroom

Wynn announced an original Punchdrunk production on 29 June 2026 for the resort's debut. Once bookings begin, guests are expected to select either a conventional seated show upstairs or a roaming immersive experience downstairs and backstage; dates and prices have not been released.

Shopping and the art collection

The plans call for a naturally lit shopping parterre featuring luxury brands, but Wynn has not issued the complete list of shops. Art will run through public areas and guest rooms, with announced highlights such as Jeff Koons' 11-metre Tulips and historic and contemporary works by regional and international artists.

The beach, pools, spa and marina

Waterfront amenities

The resort plan provides for 420 metres of private white-sand beach and a deep-water marina able to receive large yachts. It also includes a daytime beach club, although rules for day passes and access by non-guests remain unpublished.

Pools and wellness facilities

Wynn's list contains 12 pools with cabanas and landscaped surroundings, plus a five-star spa, salon and fitness centre. With treatment prices, opening hours and pool admission conditions still unavailable, they cannot yet be included in a dependable visit budget.

Facilities for families

A kids' club appears beside outdoor recreation in the official amenities list, indicating that the resort's non-gaming facilities are intended to serve families too. Wynn has not released accepted ages, fees or supervision arrangements, so childcare plans should wait for the guest policy.

Coral Court events and meetings

The 7,708 sqm events centre

Coral Court is the events and celebrations centre, covering a published 7,708 sqm. Its plan includes six reconfigurable meeting rooms, separate salons for brides and grooms, and private prayer rooms for men and women.

The column-free Grand Ballroom

At 2,633 sqm, the column-free Grand Ballroom overlooks the marina. The area is useful when comparing venues, but it cannot determine capacity because tables, stages, aisles and production equipment alter the seating plan.

Information to request before booking

By 10 August 2026, Wynn had published no venue packages, prices or minimum spends. When sales start, ask for written capacity information and a quotation that covers production, catering, cancellation and accessibility rather than deriving attendance from floor area alone.

Getting to the resort on Al Marjan Island

Airport options and the Dubai journey

Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is the resort's location, not Dubai. Wynn's website gives about 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, while a 2025 Wynn financing release put the drive from Dubai International Airport at roughly 50 minutes.

Starting point or routeOfficial informationPlanning decision

What Wynn Bridge is intended to do

The 548-metre bridge should give the resort a more direct connection to the wider road network, but the latest detailed release still treated it as a project under construction. Regard the route as unavailable until Wynn announces completion or a current mapping service shows it open.

Checklist for arrival day

After bookings open, check the final drop-off location because the hotel, events centre and marina may have different entrances. Leave spare time and do not pay for a transfer unless it is included in written reservation confirmation.

  • Check the airport, terminal and flight number before arranging transport.
  • Look at traffic on E311, E611 and Wynn Bridge that day.
  • Ask the hotel which entrance and baggage drop-off point to use.
  • Ask about parking, valet and accessible arrival options during booking.

GCGRA licensing and the facility operator

The licensee's exact name

In the GCGRA licensee register, Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC appears under land-based gaming facilities and trades as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn announced on 4 October 2024 that the project entity had obtained the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.

What this licence establishes

For this particular land-based facility, the register confirms a GCGRA licence for the named entity. The Game LLC is listed separately as the UAE Lottery operator, illustrating that lottery products and land-based facilities occupy different licence categories. When it opens, Wynn Al Marjan is positioned to become the Gulf Cooperation Council's first licensed casino; our UAE gambling laws page covers the wider regulatory context.

Checks to make before opening

Before players are welcomed, Wynn should issue the gaming floor's final rules for age, identity, admission, responsible gaming and complaints. Rules from other Wynn properties cannot be assumed to apply here before those terms are published.

Details Wynn has not announced

The information position on 10 August 2026

In the months before opening, operating details often move, making the unknowns as important to identify as the confirmed figures. This table keeps an email sign-up, design image or third-party offer from being read as a booking or operating commitment.

An email sign-up is not a reservation

Visitors can submit an email address and areas of interest on Wynn's website for news and early updates. That submission reserves no room, restaurant or theatre seat, and sets neither a price nor priority without a separate booking confirmation.

Three ways to check the information

Begin at the resort website, compare the licence with the GCGRA register, and compare the opening date with Wynn's newest investor release. When official channels omit a detail, label it unannounced instead of importing a policy from another resort.

  1. Check the page or release date as well as its headline.
  2. Distinguish a construction target from an event that has happened.
  3. Retain the booking confirmation and cancellation terms when sales open.

Planning a responsible visit once open

Begin with age and a budget

This guide and its gaming material are intended for adults aged 18 and over. GCGRA advertising standards define anyone below 21 as underage for commercial gaming other than lottery, and Wynn had not published final gaming-floor identity and admission rules by this update, so check them before travelling and do not treat hotel access as access to every resort area.

A worked UAE dirham budget

For a worked example only, imagine a future one-day entertainment budget of 800 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED), not a Wynn price. Reserve AED 500 for transport, food and contingency, and set AED 300 as the absolute gaming limit whatever the outcome.

Practical stopping rules

Choose the spending ceiling and finishing time before entering the gaming area, leaving extra cards or funds outside the plan. Once either boundary is reached, leave instead of transferring contingency money to another stake or chasing a loss.

  • Keep rent, bill and borrowed money out of play.
  • Do not increase a stake to win back an earlier round.
  • Set an end-of-session alarm and pause regularly.
  • Do not visit an ATM after reaching the planned limit.
  • If Wynn offers cooling-off or self-exclusion tools and you need a break, use them.

Recognising when to seek help

If gaming brings hidden spending, borrowing, anxiety, or neglect of work and relationships, stop. Our responsible gambling guide gives more detail on warning signs, stopping plans and support options.
